Alive Magazine
Alive Magazine
Alive magazine is the Zoological Society’s member magazine published in fall and winter. In each issue, you can read articles that explore how the Zoological Society fulfills its mission to conserve, educate, and support the Milwaukee County Zoo and experience exclusive and beautiful photos of the animals, habitats, and people we work with every day. Take some time to read about Zoo animals, the people who work at the Zoo and Zoological Society, conservation efforts here and around the world, and the Society’s Conservation Education Department. The fall issue includes a 12-month calendar filled with stunning photographs of the Zoo’s animals.
Published since 1981, Alive magazine is curated by the Zoological Society’s communications team with help from zookeepers, educators, and other Zoo and Society staff. Alive magazine content is suitable for adults and children on a fifth-grade reading level and above.
